Design and Verification Tools (DVT) Debugger is an add-on module to DVT Eclipse IDE that provides advanced debugging capabilities in the same environment used to write and maintain code:

Eliminates the need to continuously switch between the editor and simulator

Fetches the run-time context from the simulator automatically for tight integration

Provides debug operations: breakpoints, moving up/down the call stack, changing values, etc.

Includes simulation controls: step over, step into, resume, simulator commands, and more

Leverages IDE: hyperlinks, hierarchy browsing, finding usages, tracing signals, and many others

Supports and easily interfaces with all major simulators, running locally or remotely
